2D Metroidvania

Ultros is a 2D Metroidvania set in a fantastical world teeming with alien flora and fauna.


I created the majority of animations for the bosses, NPCs, most cinematic animations, a chunk of the enemy animations and additional animations for the player character. I also did polish and additional VFX.


I worked in close collaboration with the other artists on the project, in particular Roberto Kontosic who rendered the majority of my 2D animations and Niklas Åkerblad on various art assets.


The game is available on PC and PS5.

ANGRY BIRDS LEGENDS

Angry Birds RPG.

Angry Bird Legends was a mobile RPG developed by Rovio Entertainment.


Below is a collection of my work during my time as an intern at Rovio. I primarily did technical and character animation, but also some props and UI.

THE OWLCHEMIST:MIRE OF MALICE

The Owlchemist: Mire of Malice is a gloomy exploration game where you play as an elderly owl seeking to cure the land of corruption. It was made by me and eleven other students during a 7 week game project at FutureGames.


I created all of the VFX, most of the shaders and all of the animations for the player character, of which there are nine in total, as well as worked with the cloth physics for her cape.

SUMMIT

SUMMIT is a colorful, stylized puzzle-platformer where you make your way to the top of an ancient tower to recover your crashed vehicle. It was made by me and eleven other students during a 4 week game project at FutureGames.


I created all of the VFX, the majority of shaders, did all of the lighting, as well as the final boss and enemies.

This project was the first time I had animated something for a game.


The lower video showcases the final boss in game.

Below you can see the rigged boss and a few of her animations, as well as the jellyfish enemy's idle animation.

Queen of the Elements is an arena based party game for 4-player local co-op made by me and eight other students during a 2 week game project at FutureGames.


I created all the VFX, shaders and the player characters.

I also worked closely with both 3D and 2D to keep a consistent style.
